2025-2026
Awakening Academy launches this fall with grades Kindergarten through 6th grade. We expect to grow the school each year with additional grades.
Awakening Academy stands apart from typical schools. We offer a classical Christian education with a dual focus: Firstly, we center our lives on Jesus Christ, honoring God, His people, and His Church. Secondly, we foster virtuous living, critical thinking, and Christian leadership. Through this approach, we ignite a deep love for learning and a fervent pursuit of God in our students.
We partner with parents in modeling a Christ-centered life. Our students study Latin, recite poetry, engage in Socratic discussion, and imitate great artists. They strive for Awakening Academy’s Four Virtues: wisdom, honor, courage, and excellence.
To accommodate a smaller class size, space is minimal, and acceptance is not guaranteed until the student has been accepted and the enrollment deposit has been received.
Admissions Process:
- Visit us during an Open House or schedule a tour.
- Apply online here. There is a $75 application fee.
- Inform: Submit previous school records and submit pastor and previous teacher recommendations.
- Assessment: The Admissions Office will schedule your child’s assessment.
- Meet: After reviewing all required documents, the Admissions Office will schedule a Family Interview for parents to meet with the Principal.
- Prepare: The school will notify parents of the decision regarding acceptance.
- Enroll: Upon acceptance, parents must complete the enrollment packet, submit the enrollment fee, and deposit it.
What Awakening Academy provides:
- Christ-centered classical culture and curriculum.
- A focus on lifelong learning rather than learning to pass a test.
- Skillful teachers who model discipleship and strive to develop virtuous men and women who pursue God.
- A supportive community of families and partners who encourage each other to further excellence and unity.
What we ask of you:
- Remain faithfully and fully committed to your local church.
- Lead the way as the primary teachers of your children in matters of faith and conduct.
- Partner with us in our community of faith and learning and value the relationships that we have with faculty, staff, volunteers and students.
- Engage in all aspects of your child’s time at the school: assist in the homework, seek help when needed, communicate with our teachers, value the content, and support our policies and practices.
